Live Events that make a difference

Sometimes as a network marketer you may be wondering what’s the point of live events that your company or any other marketing organization holds.
The reality is, “Those who show up, move up”.
Unlike our good old education systems where you can never attend a day of class (well for some systems at least), sit all the exams and get straight A’s, I haven’t met anyone who’s made it to the top of their company and NEVER attended a company event.
This weekend I wasn’t able to jump on a plane, leave my 11 month old daughter with her dad and head to Las Vegas, BUT I was able to watch the entire No Excuses Summit 5 via Live Stream.
The only thing that would have better than what I experienced would have been to be right there in those seats watching the speakers face to face.
Thankful technology allows you to be able to do things like live stream so you don’t miss too much of a beat.
I am really privileged to be able to be in a system guided by leaders like Tim Erway and Matt Crystal who are willing to give of their time, energy and talents to help others make it to the top.
One message that really stood out during these three days was just that – Helping others.
If you are a network marketer that is only interested in making money, I’m here to tell you, yeah, you may make some money, but you’re NEVER going to make a TON of money – Why? Because your focus is all wrong.
Focus on helping people, training people, sharing with people, teaching people and you will go higher and further than you ever imagined. That’s just the reality of it.
The speakers we had this weekend were all amazing. Many shared technical tips, tricks and all sorts of tactical things that will help you get off the ground moving.
But one of the most important things that I took away from these three days was HELPING PEOPLE.
So if you’re a network marketer I really want you to take this advice to heart.
Stop nagging your downline about buying their monthly quota; instead :
Send them a video on how to do a sales call, better yet! do one with them
Get on Google Hangout OnAir and let them interview you (they can use this as a marketing tool)
Show them how to maximize the use of Social Media
Teach them about Google AdWords
Help them setup a blog
The possibilities for YOU helping your down line are infinite you just need to care a little for you to be able to make alot.
If you don’t know where to get started with all of this yourself – no problem – we are here to help you.
There are places, sites, systems that exists TODAY that you can tap into and start learning so that you too can teach!
So stop thinking about yourself and start thinking about how you’re going to help others!
